Here are some happy things from today: It was an early morning for me so I could help Gideon get ready for school on time. From there I went to the dentist for a filling. This is not something that I want to do, but something I know I should do. I'm happy it is behind me. Since it wasn't too far away, I went to Sierra and REI, two different stores that carry hiking supplies. I'm hoping to take a short backpacking trip Friday into Saturday with my friend Stephanie. One thing that I hadn't purchased yet was some kind of bear bag to hang. Between the two stores I got some things that should do the job. Then, who did I see at the store? Stephanie. Sometimes the timing just works. I had to go home so I could grab some things and go to work. They were looking for someone to come in for 1.5 hours and I decided to do it.
