Reel Long
Some happy things from today: Last night I fell asleep on the couch while YouTube played miscellaneous shows on the TV. This resulted in me not getting to sleep until after midnight. As I put my head on my pillow I noticed my stuffed llama had a spectacle and this made me chuckle. The spectacle is a magnifying glass necklace that is draped from my lamp. It fell in just the right spot. My plan was to take a few minutes to scroll the internet and then be productive. I was looking at reels and I scrolled to one that had someone decorating cakes. When I was a kid I took cake decorating classes in 4-H so I was enjoying watching this. Some reels have music, this one seemed to be telling a story. It took way too much time for me to realize that this wasn't a short story, it was a novel. There were a lot of cakes decorated before I figured this out. It wasn't the best story, but it got me interested. The reel stopped, and I was left hanging ...
