A Scary Bridge

Happy Friday!  Some happy things from today include:      My friend, Amy, came over this afternoon to help me get the bedroom painted in the apartment.  We re-covered almost the entire wall with white.  The old color was still seeping through. It looks so much better now.  The stairway and the section over the closet are still left to do.  I learned that it is a small enough area that there were some occasional tightness with two people and a ladder. After, we went for a walk on the Northern Rail Trail.  I have been on a very small amount of this trail before a few years ago.  The area is very pretty.  Part of the trail isn't complete and still has rails.  We walked over a railroad bridge with wood that was rotted which made for a careful walk.  I was pleased with myself for not chickening out on that bridge. Busy Day

What a wonderful Friday!  Here are some happy things from today: This morning, some SCA friends came by to look at the property.  We are hoping to have some of the people involved with the Forester's Guild come by and utilize our woods and property to learn and practice things that Foresters do.  We are excited by this opportunity.  The only problem is the amount of pricker bushes and ticks.  We have ideas on how to lesson some of these things a little. Sometime during the week Bel and someone else worked at Keziah’s store in the backroom.  They did some amazing work getting things organized.  There is still much to do, but it is looking so much better.  The store gets so many donations it is hard to keep up. Bel and I got to go on a little hike today.  We went to Muchyedo Banks Wildlife Management Area .  I've been there one other time about two years ago with a group of friends.  It is a very pretty walk.  Bel and I are tryin...
