Really Late Night

Happy things from today: The apron that Keziah started the other day, I finished today. It rained all morning which made it easy to stay sitting in camp and stitching. Keziah did a wonderful job with the gathers on the waist. I stitched the apron ties and did all the hems. In the past, hand stitching hasn't been my favorite thing. This war I have kind of enjoyed it. I think that is because I am stitching with other people around to talk with and bounce ideas off of. There are two small children that will be in camp off and on during the day. They are adorable and interacted with me today. I'm a person who prefers to let the child come to me rather than me to a child. Sure, when they are babies, I may ask to hold them, but when they are a little older, I prefer that the child has the say, when possible, as to who they interact with.
