2024 Happy Blog Challenge Continues

 A few happy things for today: This morning I was able to get more cleaning done in the apartment.  Mostly in the bathroom.  It turns out that I was using the wrong cleaner for the shower.  I'll pick something else up to clean it later. I got the car registered. Gideon needed a ride home from school.  When he opened the car door there was a frog (toad?) on the road behind him.   My protégé came to help me assemble the bed.  It still needs the mattress, but the rest is there!  Yay!  I'm so very thankful to my protege for using her day off to come help me assemble things.  We got done late and had dinner at The Red Arrow Diner.  It was the only place I could think of that was still open. ☮ Continued listening to: Earthsea: The Tombs of Atuan, by Ursula K. Some happy things from today: After some fun conversation with Keziah and Zed over breakfast, I took the rest of the morning off.  It was a relaxing scroll through the internet kind of morning.   In the afternoon I made it to the studio.  I was able to visit with Keziah and my protege as well as do a little bit of cleaning up.   In the evening, I stayed up way too late so I could go to a school concert that Gideon participated in.  It was mostly, if not all, 7th and 8th graders.  They were pretty good.  The sound system was maybe unnecessary, at least with the band.  Gideon was part of one of the choruses.  In the picture, Gideon has green hair. ☮ Currently listening to: The Blue Zones of Happiness: Lessons from the World's Happiest People , by Dan Buettner.
