It is Good to be Home

Things I am happy for this Monday: This morning I had my last therapy appointment for a while.  I feel like I have a handle on going through things at the moment.  Also, I'm going to be very busy this summer.  I can always make another appointment.  For right now, I'm done. Zed and I went to the storage unit and pulled out an air conditioner for my bedroom.  I was going to try and get through the summer without one.  The temperature is supposed to get into the upper 90's this week, so I thought it was time.  Those curtains were my mom's.  They are not what I want to stay in my room. They do block the light fairly well. I didn't end up spending as much time going through things as I wanted today.  Laundry, the AC, and other distractions kept me busy.  I did take some time though, and ended up with a small pile of things to shred or recycle.  ☮ Currently re-listening to: Outlive: The Science and Art of Longevity , by Peter Attia MD, B...

Closer to Spring

Happy Monday things: This morning I had therapy.  Sometimes I don't know what to talk about.  Today I feel like I had a plan.  It didn't go completely as I hoped, but I feel like it went better than usual.  This is a happy thing. Nanni, our cat that has been sick, is doing much better.  Last time I wrote that, I admit I was still concerned.  She seems almost her old self now and we are all very happy for that. Sleeping Nanni. Outside, the daffodils are getting bigger.  The buds are visible.  The crocus plants seem to be coming up in bits.  There were the few last week, and a few this week. (posting late...) Some happy things from Monday: This morning I had therapy.  I’m trying to reduce the amount of visits I have because I dislike them.  However, I felt like the discussion went well today, so that is good. This afternoon I went to the studio to help Keziah with the printing she is doing.  I didn’t do very much to help.  We did get to talk about who to give awards to.  I worked on looking for more pictures and photos of her and her work instead.   When I left the studio, our friend who also has a studio there, walked outside with me.  I noticed the moon in the sky.  We both commented how it is so neat when the moon is out during the day.  The camera in my phone takes much better pictures of the daytime moon than the nighttime moon. Moon amid the branches. Day moon. ☮ Currently listening to Lessons in Chemistry , by Bonnie Garmus. Still reading the book I didn't intend to, Saving Nora . The author appears to be Josh Willia...
