Happy Introvert Day

Some happy things from today:

  • At work, a supervisor came up to me, two separate times, and asked me to work in a different area for a little while.  Both times I was very happy with the option I was given.  I'd like to think my entire face lit up, but I was wearing a mask.  😁
  • I don't think I've ever met someone who loves school as much as my grandson, Gideon.  Today Gideon started seventh grade.  The public school he goes to noticed that he wasn't being challenged enough in the sixth grade.  When he got home from school today he gave us a summary of his day.  He was so excited!

  • The program/app I use sometimes to track my walks is called Map My Run.  They offered a challenge for the year that I decided to join.  I can't remember how far, but I went for a ten minute walk today, using the app, just so I could add to my distance.  Look at how the ice is freezing around this drain.  So cool.  Next time I think I should get a close up.
