Happy Birthday Gideon

Happy things from this busy day:

  • This morning, I jumped out of bed when I realized it was the third day of February and I hadn't paid my mortgage.  The mortgage is paid and I can forget about that for another month.  🤣
  • Before heading out for the day I spun the wheel to clean/organize something in my room.  “Closet” won the spin so I set my timer for fifteen minutes and went through the clothes.  I did some rearranging, found two shirts I don't want anymore, and removed the garb I had in my closet and put it into another closet for garb.  A few things I pulled out I hadn't seen in a while and decided to wear them today.

What a mess!

These are scarves that I forgot were hanging in my closet.

Garb and Winston.

It looks a little better.

  • Gideon, my grandson, turned twelve today.  On the way to the store, I took him out for lunch at Five Guys.  Happy Birthday, Gideon!  We met some of his family at the Golden Corral Restaurant for dinner.  It was busy and a good time.  Gideon got to hold his baby cousin.

  • The afternoon we all spent at Keziah’s store, DIY Craft & Thrift.  She received a large amount of donations that were in the front part of the store.  They all got moved to the backroom.  The store was busy.  A friend came up to spend some time with Keziah.  They are making her an outfit and needed to pin Keziah into it for fitting.  Keziah got them flowers because they will be speaking for Keziah next month when she earns her Laurel (highest award for Arts & Sciences in the SCA).

Thank you for being part of my happy things.  Stay safe.
