Happy Groundhog’s Day

Happy things from Groundhog’s Day:

  • It was not a good day to spin the wheel, but I'm happy I did.  Or perhaps the problem is that the arrow landed on ‘box’.  The deal with myself is that I will work for fifteen minutes on cleaning or straightening or sorting what the arrow lands on.  I opened three different boxes in fifteen minutes.  I am not ready to part with any of it.  Should I be?  Yes, I should.  The first box the items were in a bag that said, “Keep.”  It seemed to be my mom's personal things, like letters.  The second box had linens- tablecloths, napkins and such.  I thought that these are things I can use when I move into the mother-in-law apartment. The third box had winter clothes.  I pulled out a few items to use.  I did find a skirt that I don't know where it came from, but I don't want it.  So that makes one less thing.  That is good and gives me hope that I will find more things to say goodbye to.

The yellow skirt is going away.

  • In the evening I went to Craft Night where Keziah and I have a studio.  It was good to see people.  I had a nice visit with a friend.
  • I also pulled out a crochet project I started a while back.  So I actually crafted!

Thank you for being part of my happy things.  Stay safe.
