A Little Sleep

Some happy things from today:

  • Work was hard today.  There were many frustrating moments.  However, the day ended with smiles from coworkers wishing a happy weekend and Easter.  That was very nice and I needed it.
  • Yesterday I went to bed at a more reasonable hour and got a lot more sleep than the other two nights I worked.  Leaving work I had over 25,000 steps on my Fitbit.  And so I was still able to have a little nap after work.  Sleep is important and I hope to figure out a better routine to fit my work life and the rest of my life.
  • Since I don't have to go to sleep early on Thursdays, I got most of the dinner made for the family.  I don't cook often (I probably should contribute more in that area) but I think I did okay tonight.  We had chicken and I remembered that an easy way to prepare it is with salad dressing.  We had some tasty chicken cooked in Vidalia Onion Vinegarette dressing.  In hindsight, some French’s Onions would have gone nice toasted onto the chicken during the last few minutes of cooking.

Keziah and me!

Thank you for being part of my happy things. Stay safe.
