Happy March

Nanni, our brown tabby, isn't feeling well.  Keziah spent a long time with her at a pet ER last night.  Zed is with her there again tonight.  We are all hoping she feels better soon.

She has been spending a lot of time on that box.

Here are some happy things from today:

• Much of today was spent helping out at Keziah’s store, DIY Craft & Thrift.  Because it is vacation week there have been children of artists in the Concord Art Works section of the building.  Some of them made fairy villages.  They are adorable. 

• Keziah has a volunteer that comes in, picks up all the beads, sorts them, prices them, and brings them back.  I stocked them today.  The picture is part of the bead area that I filled up.  

There are many, many beads.

• Almost quotes, with no context, from Bel and Gideon…

             Gideon: I didn't come here for your sass.

             Bel: That's funny, because I came here to sass.

Currently listening to Cat's Cradle, by Kurt Vonnegut Jr.

Still reading the book I didn't intend to, Saving Nora.  The author appears to be Josh Williams.
