Weary Wednesday

Happy Wednesday!

  • At work, we finished early so we could celebrate something with food and games.  I say, ‘something’ because I'm not sure what it was.  There was enough side noise when they told us that I misheard it.  I thought they said that it was for Asian Appreciation Day.  However, the food definitely seemed more Mexican or Spanish.  I looked up both Asian Appreciation and Mexican Appreciation and those holidays don't seem to be in March.  The best I could come up with is that today is Spanish Paella Day.  Having looked up paella, I don't think that was a dish that was offered.  There was good food.  I'm glad that the company has these types of work engagements.
  • The yellow bell flower that was in the front yard didn't last through the snow.  The crocuses did.  Some of the crocuses I planted in the front last fall are blooming now.  I had forgotten that some of them are yellow.

  • The last few nights I haven't had the best sleep.  Zed has agreed to pick Gideon up at school and I am going to head to bed really early this afternoon.  Hopefully I will sleep a long time before going to work tonight.

Thank you for being part of my happy things. Stay safe.
