Cinco de Mayo
Here are some happy things from today:
For most of the day I worked on getting things into the bedroom and put them away. Keziah and Zed were awesome and brought my mattress over for me. There was no way I could have done that. I was hoping to get more done, but I am pleased with what got done.

There is a small pile of things that I plan to donate. Some downsizing is happening. I'm hopeful that the downsizing will continue and become easier as I clear out my old room.
It was raining today and I fell on what became one of my last trips back and forth of the day. I'm happy that I do not seem to be seriously injured, just some bumps, aches, and pains. I'm also very happy that I was carrying an empty basket to gather more things and not a full one. A full basket would have been a wet mess with potentially broken things.
Yesterday I discovered a problem with the new-to-me car, Kia Optima. When I got the car I was thrilled that it had three keys and a key fob. It turns out that the key fob isn't working well. It will lock and unlock all the doors except for the driver's. I think it is something electrical and so is not something I plan to fix. The key I was using when I figured this out didn't work in the door. That seemed odd. However, the good news is I figured something out. The key that turns the car on, only turns the car on. The other two keys don't. One of the other keys locks and unlocks the doors and the other the trunk. So I am no longer thrilled that three keys came with the car because none of them are a spare key. I'm happy I know how to lock and unlock the door now. Also, I think I know why the car is a Kia (Key-a). 😂 Zed's Kia Niro is a much newer vehicle and I have to say that the key fob on that Niro is well thought out and the company has come a long way in their key development.
The other day I wrote about finding a name for the car. Yesterday I talked with my friends about this. I'm leaning towards Stormy.

Thank you for being part of my happy things. Stay safe.
