Butterfly Bush
When a coworker and I walked towards the Problem Solve area first thing this morning, we imagined that we would get a lot accomplished. When we got there, that was squashed by the amount of work that didn't get done yesterday. It was frustrating. However, it didn't seem anywhere near as frustrating as I imagined whoever left the area like that felt yesterday. I've been that person and I don't like it. Here are some happy things from today:
- We got help. A third person came over for the middle of the shift and helped us get things in order. When I left for the day, only a few minutes late, things were organized and there was nothing left, by us, for whoever will work there tomorrow. It was nice to leave it so well.
- At home, I fell asleep. I didn't sleep long. When I got up, I ate and went through some more of my stuff. I got rid of about an inch thick worth of papers from when I was a paraeducator. There is so much more to go through, but today was an inch. Yay, downsizing.
- Then, I fell asleep again! The next time I woke up was about the time I should have been asleep. I decided to do something instead of just getting ready for bed. One of those things was to check out the butterfly bush. Most of it is blooming. It's pretty. I don't remember ever seeing a butterfly on it though?
