Plans Change
Once again the heat has done me in. My feet and ankles are swelling. Instead of going to East Kingdom Royal 2 to sew, I stayed in camp most of the day. Here are some happy things:
- While I was getting ready to head out, my friends stopped by with their one year old. I'm so glad they did since I haven't made it to their encampment yet.
- When they left, I noticed my feet and decided to wait before going out. The heat had caused my feet to swell. I found things to do in the hammock Keziah brought. Being in the hammock helped, so I am glad it was available.
- While in the hammock I was able to fingerloop braid myself a new cord for my medallion. It didn't come out the way I hoped, but it looks better than the cotton cord we got when we checked in at the gate. I can tell where I tried to do slightly different braids and when I started to fall asleep.
- There was a new-to-me moth on Keziah’s wagon. Lens identified it as a Rose Hooktip Moth. I never saw it fly.
- When things cooled down a little I had some help hanging the solar lights for the common tent. The lights were welcome as a bunch of us talked late into the night.
- The cathedral next door is all lit up.
