The Last Roses of the Season

Happy Tuesday things:

  • After working part of my night I went home to get ready to go to court.  I was summoned for the possibility of jury duty.  131 people showed up and they were looking for 14 jurors.  Only 100 people fit in the room with the judge and I was not part of that first hundred people.  I never had to go to that room and I was not chosen.  I am okay with that.
  • When I got home, I had a nice visit with Zed.  He and Keziah were away last weekend and he showed me some pictures of where they were in Vermont.  It sounds like they had a good time.  They were productive too.  They arranged a meeting with someone who has a shop similar to DIY Craft & Thrift.
  • The studio was my next stop for the day.  I still have a tunic for SCA wear that I am trying to finish for the son of Their Highnesses.  The arms were originally measured wrong and needed to be shortened.  I used scissors and the sewing machine for that part.  The rest is hand stitching and I can do that at home or as a passenger in a car.
  • ROSES!!

Started listening to: The Silmarillion, by J. R. R. Tolkien.

Thank you for being part of my happy things. Stay safe.
